Five KPK Chairman

Through a plebiscite held on Wednesday evening, 5 December 2007, the House of Representatives Commission III finally selecting five KPK leaders of the period 2007-2011. They are the Chandra M. Hamzah, Antasari Azhar, Bibit Samad Rianto, Haryono, and Mochammad. Jasin. 49 members of the House of Representatives Commission III, Chandra get 44 votes, followed Antasari with 37 votes. Bibit and Haryono get the same number of votes, namely 30. Meanwhile, Jasin get 28 votes.

After getting the composition of the five leaders KPK period 2007-2011, the House of Representatives Commission III led by Trimedya Panjaitan maka second proces to become Chairman of the KPK.

For this second phase, taken from the two candidates who get the highest votes in the first round, the Chandra and Antasari. Finally, Antasari as Chairman of the KPK period 2007-2011 after getting 41 votes. While Chandra get 9 votes.
